Your location data will be sent (along with your IP address) only to overpass-api.de, the main OpenStreetMap data server. Check their privacy policy. The data returned is from the openstreetmap.org database, used under ODbL terms.

If you do not wish to provide location data, you can decline in which case a placeholder location will be used. This will still send your IP address. If you don't want that, close the page now.

Whether this thing even works outside Anglophone areas is to be investigated...
