giffgaff does not support 4G calling, so incoming calls go direct to voicemail. workaround: switch to 3G manually (slower mobile data), then calling works fine
-
after factory reset, EE network unlock method is counter-intuitive: device reports “SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK.” obtain EE unlock code gratis using IMEI: https://ee.co.uk/plans-subscriptions/mobile/settings-permissions/device-unlock
Chris_B EE Community Star 01-05-2022 07:38 AM
Retrieve the device lock code which EE gave you. It should be 16 numbers in length. Enter the last 8 numbers (from the 16 digit number provided by EE). Once you get past that screen, enter the first 8 numbers (from the 16 digit number provided by EE). You should now be able to access the contents of your phone. Restart your phone. – https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Android-Devices/Mck-code-how-do-i-get-it/m-p/1138014/highlight/true#M81448
